General Hospital Spoilers: Is Josslyn Jacks Walking a Dangerous Line Between Duty and Betrayal?

According to General Hospital spoilers, last week WSB Station Chief Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) gave Josslyn “Joss” Jacks (Eden McCoy) a risky new assignment — to cozy up to her cousin, Lucas Jones (Van Hansis). Lucas is currently dating Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo), who happens to be the WSB’s best lead on the elusive Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).

Naturally, Joss’ first instinct was to protect her cousin and warn him about Marco and his dangerous father. But Jack made it clear that if she tipped off Lucas in any way, he’d charge her with treason. With little choice, Joss is forced to bury her emotions and move forward with her mission — even as the danger around her grows.

Joss Is Caught in Pascal’s Crosshairs

What Joss doesn’t realize is that she’s about to land in the sights of Pascal (Marc Forget) — and soon she’ll discover that the chaos in Port Charles is far more entangled with her recent Five Poppies mission overseas than she ever imagined.

Lucas Resists Joss’ Interference

Joss is desperate to stop Lucas from getting in deeper with Marco. At first, she considered telling him the truth about how dangerous Marco really is. But once she understood that was off-limits as a WSB agent, she tried a different approach — gently warning him that it might be too soon to move in together. She hoped that would slow things down and prevent Lucas from moving into Sidwell’s mansion on Spoon Island.

Unfortunately, Lucas is determined. He needs a place to live and genuinely wants his relationship with Marco to succeed. Any attempt by Joss to discourage him now could only raise suspicion and push him further away.

GH Spoilers Hint at Trouble Ahead with Pascal and Sidwell

Joss knows just how risky it is to wander around Wyndemere with her cousin, but avoiding him entirely isn’t an option if she wants to stay close to the investigation. Spending time at the hospital isn’t useful — Lucas is busy when he’s working — and casual visits don’t get her any closer to the real target: Marco.

Time with Lucas gives Joss a cover to be nearby when Sidwell or Pascal drop subtle clues about their plans. But the closer she gets, the more dangerous it becomes. If they discover she’s secretly WSB, Joss’s life — and her cover — could both be on the line.

Marco Becomes the Biggest Threat

Joss may know that Sidwell and Pascal once held Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) captive in a Croatian basement lab tied to Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton (Daniel Goddard), but she doesn’t yet realize that Marco himself is involved in his father’s shady business.

When Sidwell inevitably warns Marco that Joss is an undercover agent, it could spell disaster. The Rios men will have the advantage, and Joss could find herself forced to risk everything — including her WSB career and her freedom — to protect her family.
