EastEnders fans are convinced that Harry Mitchell (Eljiah Holloway) is facing further drama after he accidentally caused Okie’s death in Tuesday’s episode.
EastEnders viewers are anxiously awaiting the outcome for Harry Mitchell (Eljiah Holloway) after he accidentally killed Okie (Aayan Ibikunle Shoderu).
In recent storylines, Harry has been forced into drug dealing and was violently kidnapped by Okie and his criminal mastermind, Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara). The mechanic was also tricked into using drugs and is now struggling with withdrawal symptoms.
In Tuesday’s episode of EastEnders (November 11), Okie threatened Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho) with a knife, trying to determine what he and Harry had revealed to the police about the drug operation.
When Harry arrived, a confrontation with Okie erupted as Kojo ran off to get help.
During the struggle, Okie dropped his knife, which Harry quickly grabbed to protect himself from being stabbed. Harry got hold of the weapon first but accidentally killed Okie, who died from a single stab wound within minutes, according to OK!.
When Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian) arrived at the flat, he convinced Harry not to call the police, and the two left the scene. Teddy later returned and claimed responsibility for Okie’s death.
Teddy was subsequently arrested, and in Wednesday’s episode, he faced questioning by the police.
Back in Albert Square, a remorseful Harry told his mother, Nicola (Laura Doddington), that he needed some time alone as he struggled with guilt over Okie’s death and his father’s arrest.
Harry appeared visibly shaken and consumed by his emotions, despite his mother’s efforts to comfort him and insist that allowing Teddy to take the blame was the right thing to do.
EastEnders fans are now worried that Harry could face a mental health crisis as he deals with the consequences of Okie’s death. One viewer shared their concern on X, saying: “Harry Mitchell is like a modern-day Jesus Christ. I’m afraid he’s going to have a mental breakdown #EastEnders.”
Another fan commented: “#EastEnders I have a feeling we might be heading towards a potential mental health or spiralling storyline for Harry, which will be heartbreaking. Despite the different situations, Nicola and Harry have both taken a life, so they can understand each other in that sense.”
