“I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! makes its return to ITV this weekend, bringing a new group of stars to the Australian jungle.”
The wait is finally over as a new series of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! kicks off tonight.
Earlier this week, fans found out which celebrities are trading their luxurious lifestyles for life in the Australian jungle over the coming weeks.
ITV viewers can look forward to seeing stars such as Alex Scott, Roman Kemp, and Kelly Brook confront their fears as part of the official 2025 cast.
Also heading into the jungle is Emmerdale’s Lisa Riley, who revealed that she drew the courage to take part in the show following the passing of her mother in 2012 and, more recently, the loss of her best friend and Strictly professional Robin Windsor.

Lisa is best known for playing Mandy Dingle in Emmerdale, the adoptive mother of Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson).
While ITV viewers love seeing their on-screen mother-son relationship, Lisa has previously spoken about her difficulties with conceiving.
Medical professionals had informed her that, due to the low quality of her eggs, it was unlikely she would ever become pregnant, even with IVF.
In a 2018 interview with The Mirror, Lisa said: “Learning that I was unlikely to get pregnant was devastating. But I refuse to let that define me.”

“Many people believe that a woman needs to have a child to feel complete, but that simply isn’t true.
“I feel that I’ve taken control of the situation now. I’ve witnessed others endure years of IVF and the immense stress and pressure it brings.
“I don’t want to go through that. We’ve decided not to pursue that path, and now that we’ve made this choice, I couldn’t be happier.”
Lisa revealed that her body was being heavily treated with hormones to monitor her egg count, which had a significant impact on her.

She added: “It really plays with your mind, and I just couldn’t put myself through that anymore. The past few months have been incredibly tough and emotionally draining, so we decided it was time to stop. I gave it a try, but it didn’t work.”
Despite not having children of her own, the soap star has since emphasized that she is happy with her life and enjoys being close to her niece and nephews.
Viewers can catch Lisa’s jungle adventures tonight alongside Kelly Brook, Shona McGarty, Martin Kemp, Eddie Kadi, and Alex Scott.
Other celebrities joining this year’s lineup include Ruby Wax, Jack Osbourne, Aitch, and Angry Ginge.
