“Coronation Street’s Lisa Swain and Carla Connor have faced many challenges since Becky Swain’s shocking return, as she keeps interfering in their relationship.”
Next week on Coronation Street, Carla Connor will end her relationship with Lisa Swain. Meanwhile, Lisa’s ex-wife, Becky Swain (Amy Cudden), receives a funeral wreath with the chilling message: “Rest in Peace – Again!”.
Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) panics as her mother Becky meets with DI Costello (Daon Broni), warning him that whoever sent the wreath is serious and that she intends to uncover the truth.
At the police station, Becky secretly photographs a group of teenage girls. Later, Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) arrives for his promotion interview, while DI Costello opens a message that leaves him shaken—a photo of his own daughter.
As Kit leaves, DI Costello receives a call from Becky. Outside the office, Kit overhears the conversation, intrigued. Aware that Lisa (Vicky Myers) is scheduled to meet Carla (Alison King) for lunch, Becky begins scheming.
When Lisa finds Becky on the street, clearly drunk, she takes her home to help her sober up. Becky admits she’s been drinking to numb the pain of losing everything.
After taking a shower, Becky comes down the stairs wearing Lisa’s bathrobe, just as Carla arrives, having been stood up.
As Carla takes in the scene, she is devastated and immediately orders Becky out of the house. Meanwhile, Kit grows concerned when DI Costello doesn’t show up for work.
Kit informs Lisa about the attack on Costello and hints that Becky could be involved—will Lisa believe him? Heartbroken, Carla decides it’s time to end her relationship. She tells Lisa that it’s over, leaving Lisa in shock.
Elsewhere at the hotel, Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard) changes the password on the accounting system and refuses to share it with Ryan Connor, reminding him that from now on, he’s in charge of the finances.
Meanwhile, Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) panics after receiving an email confirming she is scheduled to speak at an event tomorrow.
Elsewhere, when Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) accuses Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) of pushing him into running a half marathon, Theo insists it’s for Todd’s own good and adds that they’ll be going for another run later as part of their training.
