Emmerdale viewers were stunned by what unfolded in Tuesday night’s episode.
**Emmerdale fans were left “cringing” over a Kev Townsend twist on Tuesday (November 18), with many admitting they had to “fast forward” scenes.
Viewers of the ITV soap know that Robert Sugden’s (Ryan Hawley) secret prison husband, Kev (Chris Coghill), recently turned up in the village — much to Aaron Dingle’s (Danny Miller) annoyance.
Kev informed Robert that he’d been freed on compassionate grounds because he was terminally ill with only months left to live.
However, local GP Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) has since discovered that Kev’s health issues are nowhere near as severe as he claimed.
Soon after Kev and Robert renewed their vows, Robert ended the relationship, leaving Kev devastated and desperately trying to win him back.**

**In tonight’s episode, Kammy Hadiq (Shebz Miah) hosted a housewarming party for Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) and Lewis Barton (Bradley Riches) at Dale View, with plenty of familiar faces turning up.
As the celebration kicked off, Billy Fletcher (Jay Kontzle) jumped on the karaoke machine to perform a Spice Girls classic — but the atmosphere changed the second Kev walked in.
Both Robert and Aaron were taken aback when Kev showed up and launched into drunken karaoke. In a bid to win Robert back, the former inmate started singing Daniel Bedingfield’s 2002 love ballad If You’re Not the One.
The rest of the guests looked mortified as Kev kept going, eventually leaving the party with Claudette Anderson (Flo Wilson) after feeling shut out.
Robert later checked in on him, and ended up assuring Kev that he’d stand by him when his time comes — a promise that thrilled Kev but left Aaron far from happy.**

**After the episode aired, plenty of Emmerdale viewers rushed to social media to react to Kev’s unexpected karaoke moment.
One fan posted on X (formerly Twitter): “Kev singing is definitely going to haunt my nightmares tonight,” while another admitted: “I haven’t laughed that hard in ages.”
A third viewer wrote: “I genuinely can’t stop rewatching it. It’s so cringey that it’s hilarious — and Aaron’s smug expressions made it even better. I’m crying with laughter.”
Another commented: “I was cringing so much I had to fast-forward,” while someone else agreed, saying: “I couldn’t deal with the singing. Kev is so unpredictable, and it’s actually quite unnerving.”**
