I’m a Celebrity star Lisa Riley opened up about her weight-loss journey on Wednesday. Lisa revealed she has felt “absolute guilt” while discussing her transformation.
The popular ITV show returned on Sunday (November 16), featuring ten celebrities swapping their luxurious lifestyles for three weeks in the Australian wilderness. So far, viewers have seen the stars jump from helicopters, put their heads into boxes of snakes, and tackle several iconic Bushtucker trials.
Alongside facing their fears, the contestants have also been building deeper personal connections.
Speaking about undergoing a two-stage breast uplift following her weight loss, Lisa said: “I’m now a size 16–18, but at my heaviest I was a size 28.”
She added: “My absolute guilt for years was being completely blind to portion control… I’ve cut out nibbling altogether.”
The soap star went on to say: “I’m never lazy. I really think it’s hereditary.”
Lisa’s openness helped the trio bond over issues such as weight-loss expectations and the menopause. Ruby spoke about losing her sex drive as a result of menopause, while Alex shared: “It’s completely different for women. For me, it has always been about a deep emotional connection, which makes the sex even more passionate because of that strong bond.”
Reflecting on her romantic history, the former Lioness shared: “I had relationships with men throughout my life, but there was always something missing.”
Elsewhere in tonight’s episode, Alex, Kelly Brook and Shona McGarty’s early-morning swim took a frightening turn when they spotted a cluster of leeches in the corner of the swimming area.
“We were seconds away from being covered in leeches and eaten alive. Oh my god! We couldn’t get out of that pool fast enough,” Kelly admitted in the Bush Telegraph.
Later in the episode, Eddie Kadi took on the latest Bushtucker Trial, A-Scare-ium, which saw him climb into a giant fish tank and unlock ten submerged chests using matching keys.
