Emmerdale fans worry that Kim Tate may be nearing her exit from the soap.
Emmerdale viewers are now convinced that Kim Tate may be heading for a tragic end in a shocking murder twist.
Kim (played by Claire King) has been a cornerstone of the soap since 1989, and as the village’s notorious man-eater, she’s been central to countless major plots.
From her explosive feuds across the Dales to even faking her own death, Kim’s time on the show has been packed with drama.
She’s also had her fair share of memorable romances — from her affair-turned-marriage with Frank Tate (Norman Bowler) to her more recent relationship with Will Taylor (Dean Andrews), who heartbreakingly died on Christmas Day last year.
However, viewers now worry that Kim’s days on the soap may be numbered as a heartbreaking twist looms. Recently, Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths) arrived in the village as a local farmer renting land from Kim.
But what nobody realises is that the sinister Celia is secretly operating a domestic slavery ring on the property with her son Ray (Joe Absolom).
Their list of crimes doesn’t stop there — the pair have manipulated teenagers April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) and Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle) into acting as drug runners to pay off a mounting debt, while April has also been pressured into sexual exploitation.
In Friday’s episode (November 21), Kim informed Celia that she intended to inspect the farm and the land. Trying to buy herself some time, a flustered Celia claimed Kim needed to provide at least 24 hours’ written notice.
Despite this, Kim turned up anyway, leaving Celia furious. Before letting her in, Celia made Ray try to keep the enslaved individuals in the attic quiet while she confronted Kim.
Once inside the chaotic property, Kim insisted on having a look around, but Celia managed to persuade her to leave. With Kim coming dangerously close to discovering the truth, fans are speculating that Celia might go as far as killing the Dales legend.
On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one user wrote: “The way Celia looked at Kim! Uh oh, she’s in trouble.” Another commented: “If looks could kill.” A third added: “I think she’ll try to murder her to keep her quiet.” Someone else asked: “Is this how Kim’s exit will happen?”
