Jack Osbourne shouldn’t be taking part in I’m A Celeb just months after his dad Ozzy’s death, a former show star has claimed.

Dean McCullough — who took part in I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! in 2024 — has expressed concern for Jack Osbourne’s well-being following the death of his rocker father Ozzy three months ago.

Dean McCullough believes Jack Osbourne shouldn’t be taking part in I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! so soon after the death of his father, Ozzy Osbourne.
The Black Sabbath legend died at 76 on July 22, and since the ITV jungle show kicked off on November 16, Jack, 40, has been seen breaking down in tears and even clashing with fellow campmate Kelly Brook, 45, over how she chops potatoes.

Dean — who appeared on I’m A Celebrity in 2024 — says he’s worried about Jack’s emotional state.
At 33, he admitted: “I think Jack’s going to struggle. Just looking at him, you can see in his eyes that he’s dejected. If I’m being completely honest, I don’t think he should be in there. It’s too soon.”

“His dad only passed away in July, and the jungle is such a tense, exposing, and nerve-wracking environment. There’s nothing comfortable about it.

“I just feel like he could use a bit of support.”

Despite his worries, Dean is confident the show’s producers are looking out for Jack. The BBC Radio 1 presenter said: “I know the team very well. Before we went in, we went through a thorough assessment. I think he’s being well cared for, but if I were in there with him, I’d definitely be keeping an eye on him.”

A camp insider revealed the team is “closely monitoring Jack’s situation.”

They added: “Jack has appeared dejected at times and clearly has a lot weighing on his mind.”

“ITV has robust duty of care procedures in place, and producers do everything possible to make sure campmates are looked after around the clock — especially in situations like this.”

On Monday night’s episode, Jack broke down in tears while talking about Ozzy’s death after fellow campmate, Emmerdale star Lisa Riley, 49, asked him about the rock legend, which Jack admitted “still feels very raw.”

In the same episode, Jack and Kelly clashed over how she was chopping potatoes, leaving her upset and prompting her to apologise. Following the argument, Jack stepped back from his duties as camp chef.
