Ant and Dec tease a possible romance between Shona and Aitch on I'm a Celeb after the rapper admits he has a ‘soft spot’ for her.

I’m a Celebrity hosts Ant and Dec noted that it’s been ‘a while’ since viewers have seen a jungle romance, just as campmate Aitch admitted he has a ‘soft spot’ for EastEnders star Shona McGarty.

Ant and Dec are eager to see a jungle romance blossom between Shona McGarty and Aitch, after the rapper admitted he has a soft spot for the EastEnders star and fellow campmate.

Dec said he was stunned by the confession while watching the scenes ahead of Friday night’s episode, admitting: “This came completely out of the blue this morning.” Ant added: “It’s been a while since we’ve had a proper romance on this show. We’d love to see it… we would celebrate it.”

The presenting duo also pointed out that both Aitch and Shona are currently single. Aitch shared his confession during a chat with Angry Ginge on the show.

“I’ve got a bit of a soft spot for Shona, me,” Aitch admitted, prompting Ginge to reply: “I think she’s really nice, if that’s what you mean, yeah?”
Keeping it understated, Aitch confirmed: “Yeah, that’s what I mean…”

Shona split from her musician fiancé David Bracken earlier this year. Insiders say the separation was amicable, and he recently wished her well for her time in the jungle on social media.

The moment came after the celebs tidied up the camp as part of their bid to earn a badge. Aitch gathered logs, while Shona and Jack Osbourne took on dunny duty.

Kelly Brook revealed to Vogue Williams that she skipped her morning jungle shower so she could stay back and look after the rice after being made camp chef. Meanwhile, Celebs Go Dating’s Anna Williamson defended her co-star Tom Read Wilson, 38, after Aitch made a playful jab at his posh accent.

When Tom first entered the jungle, Aitch even asked him whether he would ever “switch” his voice off.

Tom’s friend Anna said, “I just want to support my friend,” when asked about the comments about his voice.

She explained: “Aitch on I’m A Celeb was asking about the way Tom speaks and was basically waiting for him to ‘turn it off’. You know what? I’m going to bust that myth right now.

“It’s probably the most common question Paul (C Brunson) and I get about Tom — people always ask, ‘Is that his real voice? Is that really how he talks, or is it an act?’

“Let me tell you, on my kids’ graves, that is genuinely how Tom speaks.”
