Emmerdale’s Celia Daniels has recently arrived in the village, and fans of the ITV soap are curious to know which resident she might develop a romantic connection with.

Emmerdale fans are convinced they’ve figured out who Celia Daniels’ love interest will be — and it’s not Bob Hope.
In recent episodes of the ITV soap, Bob (Tony Audenshaw) took a chance and tried to flirt with newcomer Celia.
However, she dismissed his cheeky comments and innuendos about Belgian buns, making it clear she wasn’t interested.
During Monday’s episode (October 6), Celia offered Bob some advice about his granddaughter April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan), who has secretly been selling drugs for her.
Later, Celia offered to buy Bob a coffee, which he mistakenly took as a sign that she might be romantically interested in him.

Despite Bob’s attempts to win Celia over, fans believe that Mary Goskirk (Louisa Jameson) might be the one to catch Celia’s eye.
Posting in an Emmerdale Facebook group, one viewer wrote: “I think Mary is going to develop feelings for Celia, and they’ll end up going on a date — then she’ll introduce her to Rhona, leaving April completely shocked.”
Another fan replied: “That would be really interesting, although I’d love to see Mary happy in love — I just don’t think it’ll be with Celia.”
A third commented: “That would be a great twist.”
And a fourth agreed: “That’s definitely intriguing.”

Mary publicly came out to Kim Tate (Clare King) in 2023, revealing the lifelong secret she had kept hidden and finally embracing her true self.
Her past included a deep, unspoken romantic connection with a woman named Louise, whom she had referred to as her “late friend.”
Mary also developed feelings for her friend Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough), but Suzy chose to reunite with Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick), leaving Mary heartbroken and caught in a love triangle.
As Mary is the mother of April’s stepmother, Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry), a potential romance between her and Celia would certainly complicate things in the village.

After agreeing to move out following the drug incident that also led to her brother Leo’s death, April decided to accept a room offered by drug dealer Ray Walters (Joe Absolom).
Bob grew worried when he spotted April waiting at the bus stop with a packed bag and insisted she move into the B&B with him instead.
While Rhona and Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) feared they might have been too hard on her, Bob later told them that April had moved into the B&B with him.
