I’m A Celebrity fans have pointed out a potential hurdle in Aitch’s growing jungle romance.

The 25-year-old Manchester rapper recently admitted to having a “soft spot” for fellow campmate and former EastEnders star Shona McGarty, 34. He openly shared his feelings with close friend Angry Ginge during Friday night’s episode.

Although Shona is currently single after recently ending her engagement, viewers of I’m A Celeb have spotted a possible complication.

Fans think the nine-year age gap between the two could cause issues. Tensions rose when fellow campmate and late arrival Vogue Williams mistakenly suggested they were the same age.

One viewer took to X, formerly Twitter, commenting: “Did I hear Vogue say that Shona and Aitch are the same age? ? ? ? ? Shona is 34 and Aitch is 25.”

Another viewer commented: “Vogue saying Aitch is the same age as Shona… she’s 34, he’s 25. Not quite,” according to the Express.

The conversation took place during Friday’s episode when Ginge and Aitch decided to take a dip in the creek, giving them a chance to talk privately about their fellow contestants.

Aitch opened up to Ginge, saying: “I’ve got a bit of a soft spot for Shona, me.”

Ginge responded: “I think she’s really nice, if that’s what you mean, yeah.”

Aitch confirmed: “Yeah, that’s what I mean.”

Ginge nodded in agreement: “Yeah, she is.”

Earlier in the episode, newcomers Vogue and Tom speculated about the potential romance. Vogue commented: “Her and Aitch are single now.” Tom added: “They’d make a stunning couple.”

Vogue remarked: “They’re the same age,” while Tom noted: “And they both have those bright, bright blue eyes.” Vogue laughed and added: “Plus, they both love music.”

However, despite Aitch admitting his secret crush on the EastEnders star, reports indicate that the award-winning rapper is actually seeing someone privately, unknown to most of the camp.

According to The Sun, the couple have been together since early this year and have even enjoyed a romantic getaway.

In May, an insider revealed: “Aitch has been seeing Lois for a few months, but their relationship has recently become more serious. He took her on a trip to New York – just the two of them. They’ve also met each other’s family and friends.”

She is said to have a taste for designer fashion and enjoys dressing stylishly, though Aitch has never posted photos of her on social media, as they prefer to keep their relationship private.
