I’m A Celebrity viewers have noticed a potential obstacle in Aitch’s budding jungle romance. The 25-year-old Manchester rapper recently admitted to having a “soft spot” for fellow campmate and former EastEnders star Shona McGarty, 34.

He shared his feelings with close friend Angry Ginge during Friday night’s episode. Although Shona is single following the end of her engagement, fans have already spotted a potential issue.

Many viewers have pointed out the nine-year age gap between the pair, which could cause complications. Concerns arose when late-arriving campmate Vogue Williams suggested the duo were “the same age.”

One fan tweeted: “Did I hear Vogue say that Shona and Aitch are the same age? Shona is 34 and Aitch is 25.”

The moment unfolded during Friday’s episode when Ginge and Aitch went for a swim at the creek, giving them a chance to talk privately about the other campmates.

Aitch confided in Ginge about something on his mind, admitting: “I’ve got a bit of a soft spot for Shona, me.”

Ginge replied: “I think she’s really nice, if that’s what you mean.” Aitch confirmed: “Yeah, that’s what I mean.”

Ginge nodded: “Yeah, she is.”

Earlier in the episode, newcomers Vogue and Tom had been discussing the potential romance.

Vogue noted: “Her and Aitch are single now.” Tom added enthusiastically: “They’d make a gorgeous pair.” Vogue remarked: “They’re the same age,” while Tom pointed out: “And they both have those bright, bright blue eyes.” Vogue laughed and added: “And they both love music.”

Although Aitch recently revealed his secret crush on the EastEnders star, it has been reported that the award-winning rapper is actually in a relationship that few people know about.

According to The Sun, Aitch and his girlfriend, Lois, have been together since the start of the year and have even enjoyed a romantic getaway together.

A source previously told the publication in May: “Aitch has been seeing Lois for a couple of months, but things have recently become more serious. He took her on a trip to New York — just the two of them. They’ve also met each other’s family and friends.”

Lois is said to be a fan of designer fashion and loves to dress stylishly, but Aitch has never shared pictures of her on social media, as the couple prefer to keep their relationship private.

The source added that her Instagram account is private and she has removed her profile picture, “although you can see he follows her.”
