Emmerdale viewers can look forward to plenty of drama next week on the ITV soap, including a Dingle return and Ray and Celia’s shocking new scheme targeting April.

Things are set to heat up in Emmerdale next week.
A beloved Dingle legend returns to the village, but it’s clear they’ve hit a breaking point. Meanwhile, Nicola and Jimmy King face the consequences of their son Carl’s recent criminal actions.
Elsewhere, villains Celia Daniels and her secret son Ray Walters hatch a shocking new scheme targeting young April Windsor.
Also on the ITV soap, Aaron Dingle drops a major bombshell on Robert Sugden, and Dr Liam Cavanagh receives his cancer test results — but what will they reveal?
Here are the top 5 Emmerdale spoilers for next week.
1.) Cain Dingle struggles as he makes his return

Moira is finding it hard to cope with Cain’s absence, and when he returns from searching for John in France, he appears to be on a self-destructive path, drinking heavily and avoiding Moira’s questions about John.
Moira gently reminds him of his responsibilities and Zak’s anniversary, but Cain seems determined to continue down a destructive route. Sam and Belle worry whether Cain will attend their dad’s anniversary.
When Belle and Sam visit Zak’s grave, they’re disappointed that Cain hasn’t joined them. As they support each other and talk about Zak, their concern for their brother brings them closer together.
2.) Aaron shocks Robert with a major revelation

Aaron tells Robert that he’s moving back into the flat today and asks him to stay for his first night back. Robert agrees, but Victoria reminds him that he still needs to tell Aaron about Kev.
Aaron feels nervous about the move, and Robert feels guilty when Aaron expresses hope for a fresh start, especially as Robert secretly cancels a call from Kev. As Robert and Aaron’s relationship progresses, he knows he needs to be honest — but will he, particularly when Kev’s big news comes to light?
3.) Ray and Celia hatch a scheme targeting April

Paddy is proud of Dylan for passing his driving test, but Dylan feels uneasy realizing that Ray was listening in. Ray congratulates him but reminds Dylan that the crash course was costly, meaning he’ll need to work extra hard to pay it off. Dylan asks Jai about driving for the depot, and Jai offers him a trial shift to Hull.
Meanwhile, Ray goes over his new business plan with Celia, confirming that Dylan will be driving for them. Celia also urges April to be more productive. Ray pressures Dylan into making a delivery during his Hull trip, and Dylan reluctantly agrees.
April becomes anxious when she hears about the plan. When Jai explains that Billy will be driving to Hull and Dylan will only be accompanying him, Dylan worries about how he’ll manage Ray’s delivery.

April panics when Ray tells her he’s sending her on a trip to Liverpool, pressuring her to take the job or risk him selling her debt. Feeling forced to repay what she owes, April ends up stealing jewellery from Rhona — just as Rhona catches her in the act.
April then finds Ray and agrees to take the Liverpool job, only for him to say someone else is handling it. He assigns her a different task instead.
Ray drives April to a hotel, gives her cocaine for a “valuable client,” and tells her to have a drink. Nervously, April arrives, and while Ray’s client Tim accepts the cocaine, he offers April vodka. She soon finds herself trapped in a bedroom with Tim.
4.) Dr Liam gets his cancer test results

Liam discloses that his prostate test results have come through. Viewers will remember that the village doctor has recently faced health concerns and feared he might have prostate cancer.
Next week, Liam gets ready to check the results with Chas supporting him. But what will they reveal?
5.) Tensions rise between the families

Nicola and Jimmy are worried about Carl’s upcoming police interview after he was accused last week of sending an indecent image of a minor. Carl admits to sharing Clemmie’s photo, and despite Nicola insisting he’s learned his lesson, the police are treating the matter very seriously.
Tensions between the two families continue to grow. Meanwhile, Clemmie confides in Dawn about why she sent the photo to Carl, leaving Dawn feeling guilty as she hears her explanation.
Dawn tries to speak to Nicola, approaching the conversation mother-to-mother, but Nicola becomes defensive and turns it into an argument. Laurel attempts to comfort Nicola over Carl’s issues, but Nicola spirals further, prompting Laurel to make a revealing admission. Dawn is frustrated by the school’s lack of support, and when Joe offers a new suggestion, it quickly sparks even more conflict for her.

Soon, Nicola and Laurel come to realise they’ve lost touch with their children’s online activities and decide to join forces to safeguard their kids from digital risks.
Meanwhile, Dawn confides in Joe, sharing her traumatic past, including being forced into sex work and struggling with drug addiction, drawing parallels to April’s situation. She explains how she met Clemmie’s mother on the streets and expresses her dedication to keeping Clemmie safe, including online.
