EastEnders viewers were left on edge after Cindy Beale suffered a fall down the stairs at the hands of Jasmine Fisher. In Monday’s episode (November 24), newcomer Jasmine (Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness) continued her unsettling obsession with Cindy (Michelle Collins), sparking concern across Albert Square.
Cindy grew suspicious of Jasmine after noticing a mismatch in her National Insurance number. Even though Jasmine was on her payroll, she dismissed the issue, only heightening Cindy’s doubts.
Following a secret meeting with Jasmine’s mother, Anita, Cindy and her daughter-in-law Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa) became increasingly uneasy about the mysterious and seemingly “dangerous” teen.
After serving time, Cindy spent 25 years under police protection, faking her death and adopting a new identity as Rose Knight before making her dramatic return to Walford in June 2023, according to OK!
Fast forward to the present, Cindy confided her concerns about Jasmine to her old rival, Elaine Peacock (Harriet Thorpe).
In an unexpected twist at The Vic, the two women bonded over the Jasmine dilemma, though their conversation was abruptly interrupted by Nigel Bates (Paul Bradley).
He revealed a shocking detail: after he accidentally struck Jasmine with his car, she ominously said, “She needs to pay for what she did.”
