I’m A Celebrity hosts Ant and Dec have been given a cheeky warning by one of the campmates.
The new series is in full swing, featuring Emmerdale’s Lisa Riley, Loose Women star Kelly Brook, former EastEnders actress Shona McGarty, Martin Kemp, Eddie Kadi and Jack Osbourne tackling the gruelling Bushtucker Trials.
They’re joined by Alex Scott, Ruby Wax, Aitch, Angryginge, and newcomers Vogue Williams and Tom Read Wilson.
During Tuesday night’s episode, Ant and Dec unveiled a major shake-up, introducing a fresh format in which the celebrities will battle each other in a run of one-on-one trials and challenges.
They explained that in the days leading up to the first elimination, the campmates would go head-to-head in public-voted challenges. Each celebrity would take part in a series of trials, with the results deciding who eats each night and, ultimately, who faces the first vote-off.
The six winners would return to the main camp, dubbed “Win City,” while the losers would be left to survive on rice and beans in “Doomsville.”
As the challenges began tonight, Aitch went up against Ginge, joking to Ant and Dec: “We’re coming for your jobs after this!”
Their grisly challenge, Blood Bath, had them sitting in a tank of offal, racing to scoop it into a box. As they climbed in, Aitch wished Ginge luck: “Brother, best of luck.”
Meanwhile, Lisa faced Martin in Face Off, where they had to retrieve two stars from a box filled with slime and fish guts using only their mouths. The Emmerdale actress was determined and managed to collect both stars before Martin got his first, securing her the win.
The public also voted for Kelly to compete against Vogue in a game that required them to race to eat a pig’s brain. Gagging immediately, Kelly cried: “Oh no!” as Vogue put on a fierce game face, managing to eat the entire thing and keep it down.
Eddie went head-to-head with Jack in Mouthing Off, racing to remove a star from a thread using only their mouths and tongues while being covered in critters. Meanwhile, Ruby faced Tom in Snakey Behaviour, having two minutes to reach into boxes and count the number of snakes inside—Ruby correctly guessed four.
In the penultimate round, Alex competed against Shona in Eye to Eye. The Lioness legend won by being the first to squeeze juice from raw fish eyes into a shot glass using only her mouth and then down it—though she immediately vomited into the nearby sick bucket.
The final round saw Ginge overtake Aitch to claim victory, joining the winners who earned six meals for the camp, while the losing team was sent to Doomsville.
