Emmerdale villains Ray Walters and Celia Daniels may be heading for their downfall sooner than expected. Fans believe a key clue may have exposed the potential murder weapon that will bring the pair down.
Viewers of the ITV soap will remember that drug dealer Ray (Joe Absolom) first appeared in the village earlier this year after Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) contacted him about buying Lewis Barton’s (Bradley Riches) cannabis crop.
It later emerged that Ray had been using youngster Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle), persuading him to break into Butler’s Farm to check out the layout.
Since then, April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) has been drawn into a dangerous trap set by Ray and his ruthless mother Celia (Jaye Griffiths), as she desperately tries to help pay off her boyfriend’s endless debt.
But that’s not the only sinister development — it has also been revealed that Ray and Celia have been keeping Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards) captive on their farm.

The soap delivered a worrying twist in the modern slavery storyline this week, following Bear’s plan to flee with his fellow captives, Mick (Leon Harrop) and Simo (Steven Gidwaney).
Just as Mick and Simo were preparing to make their escape, they were shocked to come face-to-face with an enraged Ray, who had clearly discovered what they were intending to do.
“I can’t believe you’d go behind our backs like this. After everything we’ve done for you,” Ray snapped. He then exposed the real betrayal — it was Bear who had informed him of their escape plan.
Now, many Emmerdale viewers are convinced they’ve figured out who might finally bring Ray and Celia down — with a number of fans speculating that newcomer Kev Townsend (Chris Coghill) could end up “killing” them.
Kev was introduced in September as Robert Sugden’s (Ryan Hawley) secret husband from prison. After his release, he attempted to adjust to life in the village, but it didn’t take long before he slipped back into his old ways.

Kev infamously robbed a shop in Hotten, making off with a large amount of cash, jewellery, and even a samurai sword. On Thursday (November 27), a furious Kev briefly held Robert, Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller), and Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) hostage at The Mill before fleeing the village.
But many viewers are convinced his story isn’t over, believing he may return to bring down Ray and Celia. One fan posted on a Facebook group: “I’d love it if Kev was the one to take down Celia and Ray.”
Another agreed, writing: “Yeah, I think he’ll come back — he could kill them with that samurai sword.”
A third added: “Same here! I definitely feel a murder storyline coming.”
A fourth echoed the theory: “Exactly my thoughts — and he’ll use the samurai sword!”
Meanwhile, another viewer suggested an alternate twist: “Maybe as he’s walking out of the village, Ray or Celia will pick him up and take him to the farm where Bear is.”
