Coronation Street fans were left swooning over Dolly-Rose Campbell’s natural hair away from the ITV soap.
Dolly-Rose rose to fame in 2014 as Gemma Winter-Brown, appearing as Kylie Platt’s (Paula Lane) friend — and she quickly became a fan favourite.
During her 11 years on the cobbles, the beloved Rovers barmaid has been at the centre of several major storylines. From marrying Chesney Brown (Sam Aston) and giving birth to quadruplets to coping with the tragic death of her brother Paul (Peter Ash) last year, Gemma’s time in Weatherfield has been packed with drama.
Away from Coronation Street, Dolly-Rose Campbell tends to keep her personal life private and rarely posts updates on social media. Recently, however, she appeared in an Instagram video alongside Tony Maudsley, who plays George Shuttleworth.
The clip, promoting ITV’s new quiz app The Spin Off, showed Tony playing the game on the Coronation Street set.
Dolly-Rose then joined in to help her co-star answer some questions. It was her natural hair, though, that caught everyone’s attention, as she sported a stunning short curly hairstyle.
In the comments, one fan wrote: “I honestly didn’t recognise her — she looks amazing.” Another added: “Totally love Dolly’s natural hairstyle.”
Echoing these sentiments, a third commented: “Wow, the Gemma actress looks so different in real life, didn’t realise it was her.” Someone else chimed in: “Dolly is gorgeous. I love her hair.”
Earlier this year, Dolly-Rose Campbell received an outpouring of support after sharing that she’d accomplished a new personal milestone. On Instagram, she posted a video documenting her challenging hike and wrote: “@michaelssummits 100th summit of Yr Wyddfa/Snowdon & my first summit.
