“I’m A Celebrity star Kelly Brook has opened up since leaving the jungle, revealing she kept the milk bottle sweets secret as her ‘trump card’ to stir up drama.”
Jungle star Kelly Brook has opened up about her dramatic revelation involving the milk bottles as she exited the camp. Speaking to the Mirror at the celebrity hotel, Kelly insisted, “I do not feel guilty one bit!”
She explained that telling her fellow campmates about the antics of herself, Ginge, and Aitch was a deliberate move meant to shake things up. Kelly admitted she had been “saving it up” for her departure, feeling that the camp deserved to know about the scheming.
“I kind of secretly suspected I might leave before Aitch and Ginge, so it became my little trump card as I exited,” she said. Kelly also showed no remorse for indulging in the treats herself—especially after seeing contestants like Shona McGarty hoarding the contraband butter for their own benefit.
Speaking to the Mirror, she said, “I think by dropping little hints that there’s some gameplay going on, and things aren’t always as they seem, it’s fun to stir things up for another five days. I don’t want them to get bored—got to keep them on their toes.”
Kelly was delighted at the thought of leaving a lasting mark on the jungle, laughing: “I might be out of the show, but you’ll still be talking about me… don’t worry,” according to the Mirror.
She insisted she felt no guilt over scoffing the sweets, particularly given Shona’s secrecy about the butter. After the EastEnders actress “ate the lot,” Kelly quipped, “‘Right, every man for himself.”
She added, “I think after the contraband incident, we realized that things were getting into the camp, and maybe more than were being discovered. People were being caught out, and not everyone was sharing the contraband. That butter should have gone into a nice bowl of rice and been shared with everyone, but it wasn’t. Shona ate it all, so the moment she did, I thought, ‘Right, every man for himself.’ And when we saw those milk bottles, you know, it’s really difficult to divide 19 milk bottles between everyone.”
Alongside Shona keeping the butter to herself, the camp had also been unsettled by Alex Scott adding salt to the food. Shona had even snuck in some air freshener.
The show’s producers had already docked stars for smuggling items and made Shona give up her role as camp leader.
Kelly also described how “emotional” it was to reunite with her husband Jeremy after three weeks apart. “I can’t put into words how I felt—I cried my eyes out. It was incredible,” she said.
She also spoke about missing her dog, Teddy. “I’ve had so many updates about him… he’s having the time of his life. He can’t wait to see me and has been watching me on the show every night.”
