General Hospital Spoilers: BLQ Can’t Calm Dante’s Anger at Gio, But Lulu’s Tough Love Could Help
General Hospital spoilers reveal that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Giovanni ‘Gio’ Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) are spending plenty of quality time talking through their issues. Gio’s surprise appearance at the Quartermaine house over Thanksgiving clearly warmed his newly-discovered mother’s heart—but his dad, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna), was notably absent.
As Gio continues to draw boundaries and pretend he doesn’t want a relationship with Dante, it seems Dante may be doing the same. Maybe this apple didn’t fall far from the tree?
Brook Lynn might not have reached Gio over the holiday, and her words could fall on deaf ears the next time she talks to Dante—but all hope isn’t lost. It looks like Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) may step in to make sure Dante doesn’t get stuck in his anger.
Brook Lynn Doesn’t Hold Back
Brook Lynn has told Gio she won’t hesitate to confront Dante about how he’s been treating their son—and she means it. She hasn’t yet had a chance to lay it all out with him, especially knowing Dante’s family has already been through so much with Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) just being released from jail.
Timing may be everything, but Brook Lynn is ready to speak to Dante and help him move forward with Gio, just as she has. The problem? Dante may not want to hear it.
GH Spoilers: Dante Can Dish It Out
During Thanksgiving, Brook Lynn and Gio caught up in the kitchen. When she tried to explain how much she knows Dante wants a relationship with Gio, Gio wasn’t receptive. He’s resistant, not confused, having heard enough from Dante to know moving forward might be impossible.
Gio has likely been on edge, fearing Dante’s sudden temper. So when Brook Lynn eventually updates Dante on her progress with Gio, he might not respond as warmly as she hopes.
Lulu Lets ‘Er Rip
Brook Lynn and Dante have come to some peace regarding Gio, despite her past lies and concealing the fact that she gave Dante’s baby up for adoption. While Dante is still frustrated over lost time and missed opportunities, he isn’t exactly trying to push Gio away either.
Brook Lynn may not be the best person to confront Dante about his behavior. While they share a child, they were never really a team or a couple.
Lulu, however, knows Dante much better and is likely to call him out on his decision to keep Rocco from seeing his own brother. Could Lulu’s intervention help Gio and Dante finally bond? And if so, could it help Dante forgive Brook Lynn for the earlier adoption deception?
