Emmerdale fans are now worried about the fate of two villagers after Celia uncovered something alarming.
Emmerdale delivered a troubling twist for two villagers after Celia Daniels declared she planned to kill them.
In Wednesday’s episode (December 3), the sinister Celia (Jaye Griffiths) found herself in danger when Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle) uncovered that Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards) was being forced into labour on the farm.
Although Dylan had never met Bear face-to-face, he immediately recognised him from the photos displayed around Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) and Mandy Dingle’s (Lisa Riley) home, where he has been staying.
Celia’s son, Ray Walters (Joe Absolom), has manipulated Bear into believing his family no longer cares about him after disappearing, using this cruel deception to keep Bear on the farm as a slave worker.
Ray also insisted that he had checked Bear’s seized phone and claimed that not a single message from his family had come through. His lies convinced Bear that there was no reason to reach out to anyone back home.
But when Dylan finally spoke to Bear, he tried to set the record straight, telling him, “Your family miss you,” before quickly slipping out of the barn.
Although Dylan didn’t tell anyone what he had uncovered, Celia followed him back and soon realised Bear was actually Paddy’s father — sending her into a panic. Up until then, Celia believed Bear’s name was Ted, the alias Ray had been using for him.
In a heated confrontation with Ray, Celia lashed out at him for accidentally involving someone from the village in their scheme.
“Rule number one of recruitment — never bring in locals,” she snapped at her adopted son. “You could blow the whole operation. Every time I trust you with even the smallest task, it ends up causing trouble.”
She went on to say that she was well aware Dylan had lied about knowing Bear’s true identity, before delivering a chilling order: “You’re going to deal with Dylan… and then you’re going to deal with Ted.”
After Celia’s ominous warning, Emmerdale fans are now fearing that both Dylan and Bear could be heading for a deadly fate.
On Facebook, one viewer wrote: “Does anyone else think this could end with Dillon being killed off… I really hope not.”
Another commented: “I feel like there’s a real chance Bear and Dillon might be murdered before they can expose anything.”
Someone else added: “Oh no, I don’t want Dylan to be written out like that,” while another insisted: “Absolutely not — and they better not kill off Bear, he’s far too lovely.”
A further fan explained: “That’s exactly what I thought when Celia mentioned ‘dealing with’ Bear and Dylan in tonight’s episode. I’ve suspected for ages that Bear would be in danger once they realised who he really is.”
