Lulu has been having a tough time with her son Rocco. While Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) blames his older son Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza), Nathan has stepped in to help.
Since returning from the dead, the detective has supported Lulu and Rocco, making sure the scared boy is safe in juvenile detention and even rescuing him after he was attacked — putting his own career at risk in the process. Nathan has become a confidant for Lulu, sharing deep conversations and forming a strong bond. But appearances can be deceiving, especially with darker forces like Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) involved. Lulu may not realize the potential dangers ahead.
The Maxie Dilemma
Maxie and Lulu have been close friends for years. Tragically, right after Lulu emerged from her coma, Maxie fell into one herself. Maxie is unaware that Nathan, her supposedly deceased husband, has returned — and it’s strange that he doesn’t seem deeply affected by her absence.
Maxie and Nathan had been expecting a child when he was shot and presumed dead, leaving her heartbroken. She eventually rekindled her romance with Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) and started rebuilding her life. But if Lulu and Nathan become involved, Maxie could face heartbreak all over again.
Could Maxie Avoid Choosing Between Spinelli and Nathan?
If Lulu does end up with Nathan, Maxie may be spared the impossible choice between her husband and her former love. However, the situation would still be emotionally devastating, as it would feel like a betrayal to her loyal heart.
