The upcoming GH promo for the week of February 16–20 highlights Maxie’s return home, with some notable interactions between Liesl and Nathan.
Liesl Interrupts Nathan and Britt to Discuss Maxie
In the preview, Liesl is seen at the hospital with Nathan, learning from a doctor that Maxie is awake. She boldly declares, “You and Maxie are meant to be together, and nothing can stop that.” However, Liesl may need to be careful, as others—including Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) and Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson)—could complicate Nathan and Maxie’s reunion.
Spinelli and Maxie Have Built a Life Together
Since Nathan’s presumed death, Maxie has been with Spinelli, and together they’ve created a loving family with their daughter Georgie Spinelli (Lily Fisher) and Maxie’s other children, James West (Gary James Fueller) and Bailey Lu Jones (Miley & Riley Plonski).
Nathan’s Connection With Lulu
Nathan and Maxie’s history is complicated by Lulu. Nathan feels drawn to her, as both have been away and are now returning to a changed hometown. Lulu’s four-year coma and the growth of her children make her homecoming emotional, while Nathan’s seven-year absence and memory gaps have left him struggling to reconnect with the familiar Port Charles he once knew.

Since resuming his detective role, Nathan has mishandled key PCPD procedures, and his recent comments about his father to Lulu have sparked fan theories. Some speculate whether he could even be Peter August (Wes Ramsey), Cesar Faison (Anders Hove), or someone else entirely. If Nathan’s last memory is from before he was shot, he would still be devoted to Maxie—but his focus on Lulu has overshadowed thoughts of his “wife.”
Liesl Is Focused on Maxie and Nathan
Unaware of Nathan’s growing closeness with Lulu, Liesl may take steps to reunite her son with Maxie. While she has no quarrels with Spinelli, she clearly favors #TeamNaxie. Seeing Nathan back in Maxie’s life could tempt Liesl to scheme for what she sees as the “greater good.”
Though Liesl wouldn’t harm Spinelli, she may go to great lengths to give Nathan and Maxie private time together. Ultimately, no amount of interference can force them back together if both aren’t willing, but it could definitely make things messy.
