Vicky Myers has become a popular face on Coronation Street as Lisa Swain – and she recently marked a big birthday milestone.
Coronation Street viewers have been stunned after discovering Vicky Myers’ true age.
The actress rose to prominence as DS Lisa Swain, first appearing in 2021 when she helped investigate the rape case involving Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney).
Since her debut, the police officer has become a central figure on the cobbles and a firm fan favourite among the show’s loyal audience. Over the past year in particular, she has been involved in several major storylines.
From solving murder cases and locking up criminals to finding herself under suspicion for murder, Lisa’s time in Weatherfield has certainly been packed with drama.
What’s more, Lisa – who shares daughter Betsy (Sydney Martin) with her former wife Becky (Amy Cudden) – has since found happiness again with soap icon Carla Connor (Alison King).
However, their romance has faced its fair share of obstacles. Last year, Becky drove a wedge between Lisa and Carla, causing serious tension. Following the dramatic Corriedale episode, Becky eventually faced justice when she was arrested for her offences.
Since then, Lisa and Carla have reunited, much to fans’ delight, and the couple are now planning to marry in April later this year.
Away from the cobbles, Vicky recently marked a milestone birthday – leaving fans completely stunned. Sharing the news on Instagram, she wrote: “Hello 50,” prompting a wave of disbelief from her followers.
“You don’t look anywhere near 50,” one fan commented. Another replied: “50? No way, surely not! x” A third added: “Wow, you honestly don’t look 50 – I thought Carla had found herself a younger woman! I had you down as early 40s.”
Meanwhile, her Corrie co-stars were among the first to send their well wishes. Sally Carman-Duttine wrote: “That sky! Full of every good thing just waiting for you to breathe it in and claim it. Love you, bud.”
Sue Devaney added: “@vicksmyers You’re going to have the very best 50th year, my darling girl! The greatest decade yet! And you’re beautiful inside and out! Love you.”
Jude Riordan also joined in, posting: “HAPPY 50TH BIRTHDAY, Vicky.”
