The pair, who first crossed paths while filming the ITV show, are celebrating an important anniversary.
Emmerdale star Laura Norton has posted a heartfelt tribute to her fiancé, also a soap actor, as the couple marks 10 years together.
Laura, 42, joined the ITV soap in 2012, playing Kerry Wyatt, the estranged mother of Amy Wyatt (Natalie Ann Jamieson). Her character departed the village in 2022 to work on a cruise ship after struggling to come to terms with the death of her partner, Al Chapman (Michael Wildman).
In reality, Laura took the 16-month break for maternity leave. Her fiancé, Mark Jordon, 60, joined Emmerdale in 2014 as Daz Spencer.
The couple began dating in 2015 after meeting on the set of the ITV soap. Mark departed from the show in 2019, with a brief return in December 2024. Together, Laura and Mark have two children: a son, Jesse, and a daughter, Ronnie.

Mark also has two children, Poppy and Joseph, from his previous marriage to Siobhan Finneran.
Taking to Instagram, Laura shared a heartfelt tribute to Mark as the couple celebrates 10 years together.
Accompanying a series of photos of the pair, she captioned the post: “20 photos for 10 unbelievably wonderful years. Wouldn’t change a thing. What a wild ride @markjordondad.”

Fellow Emmerdale stars joined the comments to share their congratulations, with Ruby Miligan actress Beth Cordingly writing: “You’re gorgeous. Such amazing photos. Happy anniversary! Here’s to ten more wonderful years X.”
Kelvin Fletcher, who plays Andy Sugden, also shared a series of heart emojis in the comments.
Laura and Mark have previously revealed their intention to tie the knot, but the plans have yet to come to fruition, according to Digital Spy in 2024.
Laura explained: “Something always seemed to get in the way. Mark took a job elsewhere, then COVID hit, then I got a dog. I became pregnant, and then pregnant again. My stepdaughter even said it’s the longest engagement in history!”

“Over time, we’ve realised we don’t need anything extravagant,” Laura said. “We don’t have concrete plans yet, but I think we will soon — we just want a relaxed celebration now, given how chaotic life is. Maybe we’ll keep the wedding small.”
Outside of their acting careers, Laura and Mark are devoted parents to their two young children, both of whom have been diagnosed with Usher syndrome, a condition affecting hearing and vision.
The couple have been open about their experiences and the challenges of raising children with the condition, hoping to raise awareness and support efforts to find a cure.
