April Windsor was still struggling in Friday’s episode of Emmerdale.
Emmerdale fans were reminded of an important detail about April Windsor during Friday’s episode, which is now available on ITVX.

Viewers will recall that April and her boyfriend Dylan Penders have recently been manipulated by Ray Walters and his mother, Celia Daniels, under the pretence of helping them repay supposed “debts” — a cover for grooming them into drug dealing.
The situation escalated when Celia coerced April into attending two prostitution appointments. During the second encounter, April refused to sleep with client Callum, but he became aggressive and lunged at her. In panic, April struck him over the head with a vodka bottle.
Since then, April has been terrified that she may have killed Callum, leaving her even more vulnerable to Ray and Celia’s control as they stepped in to “deal” with what happened.
In Friday’s episode, April — who is currently staying at The Grange B&B — remained deeply distressed about the incident and continued to suffer frightening flashbacks.
In one scene, Bob Hope walked into her B&B room while she was on her laptop. When he asked what she was doing, April claimed she was working on her homework.
But it soon became clear that April was actually searching for Callum’s address. And in next week’s spoilers, she is shown arriving outside his home, slipping an envelope of cash through the door as a gesture to his supposedly “grieving wife” — unaware that Callum is very much alive and opens the door moments later.
In Friday’s episode, Bob grew concerned about April, prompting her to reassure him: “Grandad, honestly, everything is fine…” A cheerful Bob then remarked that “things are getting back to normal.”
Fans of the soap were quick to react, admitting they had forgotten that Bob is April’s grandfather. One person tweeted (now X): “I keep forgetting Bob is April’s grandad #Emmerdale,” while another responded: “Me, too.”
Longtime viewers will remember that April’s mother is Donna Windsor and her father is Marlon Dingle. Donna, who passed away in 2014, was the late stepdaughter of Bob Hope, who acted as a father figure to April — making her his granddaughter.
