BBC EastEnders fans were taken aback by Ravi Gulati showing up so early in the latest episode.
EastEnders viewers were left confused when Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) returned on Thursday (November 13), following his confrontation with George Knight.
Earlier in the week on the BBC soap, Okie Okyere’s reign of terror (played by Aayan Ibikunle Shoderu) came to a violent end when he was accidentally stabbed by Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway).
The fight broke out after Harry was finally freed from Okie’s captivity, where he had been forced into drug use. It was also revealed that Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho) had been pressured into selling drugs by local kingpin Ravi.
Before Okie’s fatal stabbing, he had threatened Kojo with a knife, demanding to know what he had told the police, leaving him terrified.
On Tuesday (November 11), retired boxer George (Colin Salmon) visited Ravi after his brother Kojo was left shaken by the recent events, reports OK!.
Ravi, who had been released by the police on the condition that he act as an informant, sarcastically apologised to George for not being behind bars and even offered him a beer.
George immediately defended Kojo, calling him “the kindest man I’ve ever met,” while branding Ravi “the lowest man” he had ever encountered. He warned Ravi to stay away from Kojo and his family before leaving the house. However, as George reached the front door, Ravi cruelly mocked Kojo for being autistic.
In response, George landed a punch on Ravi’s face but stopped short of causing serious injury.
On Thursday (November 13), Junior Knight (Micah Balfour) also visited Ravi to warn him to stay away from Kojo.
When Ravi answered the front door, he looked awkward and sported a prominent purple bruise on his eye from George’s punch, immediately catching viewers’ attention.
Taking to X, one fan asked: “Are they serious with that make-up bruising on Ravi? #EastEnders.”
Another viewer joked: “When Ravi opened the door and revealed his eye. #EastEnders.”
A third chimed in: “What on earth is that makeup on Ravi? #EastEnders.”
One fan added: “Ravi with a pink/lilac shiner—who even punched him? My Little Pony? #EastEnders.”
Another commented: “Ravi’s supposed to have a black eye, but it’s PURPLE! Ridiculous makeup. #EastEnders.”
