It seems that someone is attempting to frame young Hope Dobbs in ITV’s Coronation Street, and fans believe they know exactly who’s responsible.

Coronation Street fans are convinced they’ve figured out who is framing Hope Dobbs.
Hope (Isabella Flanagan) has been a familiar face on the soap ever since she was born on-screen in 2010 — and it’s safe to say she’s had her fair share of major storylines over the years. From attempting to run away to even setting a house on fire, Hope’s life on the cobbles has been anything but quiet.
More recently on the soap, Hope began volunteering at The Kabin alongside Brian (Peter Gunn) and Rita Tanner (Barbara Knox). She was joined by Lily Platt (Grace Ashcroft-Gardner), who took on the responsibility of delivering newspapers.
However, when Brian and Rita discovered that Lily had thrown the papers away instead of delivering them, they sacked her — much to the frustration of her aunty, Jodie Ramsay (Olivia Frances Brown).

On top of that, Hope was furious when she discovered that Brian and Rita had been discussing her behind her back, which led her to react angrily. Not long after, a mystery individual was shown breaking into the shop and stealing Brian’s book — the very same one he had earlier used to wind Hope up.
In Monday’s episode (February 23), Brian was outraged when he realised his treasured book had disappeared, pointing out that it certainly wasn’t cheap. When Mary (Patti Clare) branded the thief selfish, Brian immediately jumped to the conclusion that Hope was responsible.

Brian went over to question Hope about the missing book, but she firmly denied taking it. Her sister Ruby (Billie Naylor) supported her, while their mother Fiz (Jennie McAlpine) criticised Brian for jumping to conclusions.
After Fiz sent Brian away, Ruby encouraged Hope to tell the truth, but Hope insisted she hadn’t taken the book. Now, fans are certain they know who is behind the scheme against her.
On a Coronation Street Facebook fan page, viewers have pointed the finger at Jodie Ramsay (Olivia Frances Brown), with one comment reading: “Jodie is framing Hope.” Another added: “Definitely.” A third wrote: “Totally agree.”

Meanwhile, discussing Jodie on Coronation Street, producer Kate Brooks recently explained that the storyline offered the perfect chance to “explore and delve into a bit of Shona’s backstory, which is where Jodie fits in.”
She added: “Jodie is a complex character with plenty of baggage, and her relationship with Shona as sisters is quite tense. They share a lot of history, with some deep-rooted resentment, but at the same time, there’s still love between them.”
