During her 30th birthday festivities, Coronation Street’s Lucy Fallon said yes after footballer boyfriend Ryan Ledson proposed.

Coronation Street’s Lucy Fallon grew emotional as she revealed her engagement to footballer Ryan Ledson. The actress, best known for portraying Bethany Platt on the ITV soap, announced on Sunday (November 16) that her boyfriend had proposed. The pair, who share two children — Sonny and Nancy — went public with their relationship in June 2021. Their romance began during lockdown, almost a year after Lucy reportedly ended her three-year relationship with former partner Tom Leech. The two first connected through the celebrity dating app Raya. In September 2022, they announced that Lucy was expecting their first child and was already five months pregnant, according to the Manchester Evening News.

This happy news comes after Lucy experienced a devastating miscarriage in March 2022, which she discovered during a private scan at seven weeks.
The couple welcomed their son, Sonny, in February 2023, followed by their daughter, Nancy, in January.
Now, after Ryan’s romantic proposal during Lucy’s 30th birthday celebrations, they are preparing for their wedding.
Sharing the exciting announcement, Lucy posted a series of photos on Instagram, proudly showing off her dazzling engagement ring.
The first snapshot featured the couple in a tender selfie, with Lucy’s hand held up to the camera. The soon-to-be bride appeared deeply moved, tears welling in her eyes.

A second photo showed Lucy sitting at a restaurant, raising her glass as her sparkling engagement ring caught the light on her finger.
In the caption, the soap star wrote: “Ending the birthday weekend with my best friend as a fiancé! ! ! ! I can’t wait to marry you @ryanledson8.”
Messages of congratulations quickly poured in from fans and fellow celebrities. Coronation Street co-star Cait Fitton commented: “Congratulations beauty one! ! ! That is amazing.” Vicky Myers added: “Congratulations to you both! What wonderful news.” Andy Whyment shared: “That’s amazing news, absolutely made up for you both.”
Emmerdale’s Laura Norton joined in with: “Congrats Lucy.” England footballer Chloe Kelly also commented: “Congratulations [love heart eyes emojis].”
