EastEnders is set to reveal the death of a Walford resident in a shocking twist

EastEnders has confirmed the death of a Walford resident following the harrowing kidnapping ordeal of Harry Mitchell.
Fans of the BBC soap will remember that Harry (Elijah Holloway) made a dramatic escape after being abducted by drug dealer Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) and his accomplice Okie (Aayan Ibikunle Shoderu).
The dangerous duo also exploited vulnerable Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho), who is autistic, using him to distribute drugs in a practice known as cuckooing. When Harry threatened to call the police to help his friend, he was taken.
Fortunately, both Harry and Kojo managed to escape and recovered in hospital before returning to their homes in Albert Square — but more trouble is looming.

On Monday (November 10), Ravi returns after being arrested for drug dealing and trafficking, much to Harry’s dismay, reports OK!.
Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan Levy) confronts Harry and Kojo about Ravi’s role in the violent kidnapping, struggling to come to terms with the idea that her boyfriend could be involved in such a crime.
The tension escalates when Kojo returns to his flat and finds an unwelcome visitor — Okie.
In the forthcoming scenes, Okie pressures Kojo to reveal the information about the drug operation that he shared with the police and demands that he send a message to Harry.

Meanwhile, Harry’s battle with addiction continues to worsen. Struggling with withdrawal, he attempts to get drugs from a dealer, but a message from Kojo halts him.
When Harry arrives, he finds Okie threatening Kojo with a knife and rushes to protect him. Kojo escapes the dangerous encounter, leading to a violent fight between Harry and Okie.
During the struggle, Harry accidentally stabs Okie, causing his death.

EastEnders has collaborated with Causeway, the National Autistic Society, and industry experts to handle the cuckooing aspect of the storyline.
The Ben Kinsella Trust provided guidance on Okie’s fatal stabbing scenes to ensure the plot was depicted both accurately and sensitively.
Commenting on the heartbreaking storyline, EastEnders executive producer Ben Wadey said: “At EastEnders, we take pride in telling stories that mirror the real-life challenges people encounter, and Kojo’s cuckooing storyline is one we feel is particularly significant.”

“Cuckooing is a form of exploitation that often goes unnoticed and hasn’t been explored on EastEnders before.”
He continued: “Through Kojo’s storyline, we hope to highlight just how easily vulnerable individuals can be manipulated and isolated — an issue that can affect any community, but feels particularly relevant in a city like London, where people live close together yet can still fall through the cracks.
“By working closely with experts and charities, our goal has been to tell this story with sensitivity and authenticity, while raising awareness about how to spot the signs of exploitation and the importance of seeking help.”
