“EastEnders viewers are sure a long-standing character is set to make a return to Walford soon.”
EastEnders fans are speculating that a familiar character could be returning to Walford following Ravi Gulati’s arrest on human trafficking charges. In Wednesday’s episode on Albert Square (November 5), viewers witnessed the ongoing aftermath of Harry Mitchell’s (Elijah Holloway) traumatic kidnapping as he recovered in hospital.
Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho) bravely rescued his best friend Harry from a terrifying hostage ordeal. Harry had been restrained and drugged for weeks by the merciless Okie Okyere (Aayan Ibikunle Shoderu), with his life in grave danger.
Both friends are now under medical care while the police work to determine who was behind the kidnapping.
While Kojo was determined to stay silent with the detectives, it was Harry who revealed the details. Harry identified the men involved in the drug ring, but police knew that Okie couldn’t have orchestrated the whole operation alone and were eager to uncover the ringleader, according to OK!.
Harry’s mother, Nicola (Laura Doddington), watched in disbelief as he named the person behind the criminal network: Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara).
Meanwhile, back in Walford, Ravi was already preparing for his impending arrest and had packed a bag for a getaway to Ibiza.
He opened up to his partner, Priya Nandra-Hart (Sophie Khan-Levy), admitting that she was the only person he had ever truly loved.
Before she could react to his sudden plans to leave, police stormed the Panesar household and arrested him. EastEnders fans were stunned as Ravi was led away from a shocked Priya, prompting speculation that his arrest might pave the way for the return of his half-brother, Kheerat Panesar (Jaz Deol).
Kheerat first made his mark on Albert Square alongside his brother Jags Panesar (Amar Adatia) in 2019, when they confronted Ben Mitchell (Max Bowden) over a stolen car.
Kheerat left Walford in November 2022, taking the fall for Suki’s (Balvinder Sopal) involvement in Ranveer’s murder and ending up in prison, unaware that Ravi was the true culprit.
