Nicola (played by Laura Doddington), recognized for her no-nonsense demeanor, arrived in Albert Square last year as Teddy Mitchell’s (Roland Manookian) estranged wife and the mother of troubled sons Harry (Elijah Holloway) and Barney (Lewis Bridgeman). Following his rescue, Harry went against his mother’s wishes and revealed everything to the police. Yet, amid all the turmoil surrounding Harry, Nicola has another pressing concern on her mind.

Despite her recent romance with ex-boxer George, some EastEnders fans are speculating that he may not be the father, suggesting Zack Hudson instead.

Viewers know that Zack (James Farrar) was revealed to be Barney Mitchell’s (Lewis Bridgeman) biological father after a brief fling with Nicola during his time as a personal trainer years ago. Nicola had kept Zack unaware of their son, allowing Teddy to believe he was Barney’s father all along.
