Emmerdale viewers are worried as Moira Dingle faces new health struggles
Emmerdale fans are convinced they’ve figured out the real reason behind Moira Dingle’s latest health problems — and it has nothing to do with her previous brain tumour.
The beloved farmer, portrayed by Natalie J. Robb, first arrived in the Dales in 2009 and has built up a strong fan following over the years.
Last year, Moira was diagnosed with a serious brain tumour after experiencing memory loss, mood changes, and seizures, leaving viewers deeply worried about her fate on the ITV soap.
After undergoing surgery and radiotherapy, she was eventually given the all-clear and appeared to be on the mend. However, her health seems to have taken another downturn after she collapsed on Friday (October 10).
While working in the fields, Moira began struggling to breathe before collapsing to the ground.
Her son Matty (Ash Palmisciano) discovered her lying there and quickly rushed to her side, worried about her condition.
Later on, Moira tried to calm Matty’s fears, insisting that she was simply tired and feeling a bit unwell.
In Monday’s episode of Emmerdale (October 13), Moira believed she’d come down with a bug after her young son Isaac also started feeling ill.
With Cain (Jeff Hordley) away, Matty took on the responsibility of caring for Isaac while Moira carried on working.
Holding a cup of tea, Moira told her other son, Kyle, “Let’s just hope you don’t catch this nasty bug as well.”
As Moira and Isaac both fell ill, Emmerdale viewers speculated that they were suffering from severe food poisoning after eating eggs from Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths).
Since arriving at Butlers Farm in June, Celia has revealed herself as the brains behind a drugs operation and has attempted to take control of Moira’s farm.
Could the dodgy farmer Celia be poisoning Moira as part of her latest scheme?
On Facebook, one viewer suggested:
“I’m wondering if Moira and Isaac are sick because they ate contaminated eggs from Celia. Could be her way of taking Moira out and seizing the farm.”
