Emmerdale fans believe they’ve figured out how Celia’s reign of terror will come to an end after noticing a ‘hint’.

Emmerdale fans are convinced that Celia Daniels is about to be taken down by a familiar face as her sinister behaviour continues.

In Monday’s episode in the Dales (November 17), April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) called her grandfather Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw) after being arrested for possession of drugs.

The teenager had been in Newcastle carrying out a drug-related task for Celia Daniels (Jaye Griffiths) and her son Ray Walters (Joe Absolom).

April’s latest criminal assignment follows a previous incident in which she was sent to a house where a man named Callum tried to assault her. To defend herself, April struck him with a bottle, believing at the time that she had killed him.

She informed Celia and Ray immediately afterward, and they handled the situation to prevent her from getting into trouble. It was later revealed that Callum had survived.

After being held at the police station, April contacted Bob and asked him to act as her appropriate adult, knowing that if Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) went instead, there would be a higher chance of her involvement in Celia’s operation being uncovered.

The officer in charge suggested that April had been caught with drugs because she was working for someone. While the officer was aware of the truth, April chose not to confirm it, hoping it would help her avoid punishment.

When April returned to the village, she was immediately confronted by Celia and Ray, who questioned her about the arrest. April reassured them that she hadn’t disclosed anything to the police.

After April left, Celia seemed irritated by the teenager’s arrest, while Ray defended her, saying, “She’s just finding her feet.”

Celia then threatened that if April made any more mistakes, “the little tramp will wish she had never been born.” Her words appeared to unsettle Ray, who walked away from his mother with a frustrated look.

In response to his reaction, some Emmerdale fans believe Ray might turn against his own mother to protect April.

One viewer wrote on X: “I wonder if Ray will end up killing Celia to keep April safe?”
