Emmerdale has dropped a spine-chilling new teaser asking “Where’s Bear?” as Paddy Kirk discovers his father has been missing for months and frantically tries to track him down.

Emmerdale has stirred curiosity with a new trailer titled “Where Is Bear?”
Longtime viewers will remember that Bear Wolf (Joshua Richards) has been missing from the village for a while, last seen driving off in his rental car over the summer.
The suspenseful promo revisits earlier moments, including Bear’s heated exchange with his son Paddy (Dominic Brunt), who angrily tells him to go to Ireland, resulting in a bitter farewell. In upcoming episodes, Paddy realizes that Bear isn’t safe in Ireland as he had assumed, but is in fact missing.
In a scene with his wife Mandy (Lisa Riley), she attempts to reassure him: “People do this all the time,” to which Paddy responds, “For four months?” Mandy replies, “Yes… if you’re Bear.”
A concerned Paddy then asks, “So, where did he go?” as a shot shows Bear mysteriously pulling down his hood, hinting he may have been hiding in a barn. The mystery is set to unfold over three special upcoming episodes, according to the Mirror.

The teaser has already generated plenty of buzz among fans, with one posting on X: “So excited to see Bear back! Totally invested in his storyline! Can’t wait for his solo episode next week.”
Another fan speculated that Bear, once he returns, might confront the villainous Ray, who runs a drug operation with his mother. They wrote: “When’s Bear coming back? He could totally wipe the floor with Ray. Though with Celia involved, he’d probably be like a rat up a drainpipe!”
Lisa Riley, who first appeared as Mandy in 1995, shared her excitement by retweeting the clip alongside a string of crying face emojis.
Spoilers have already teased Paddy preparing to alert the police about his father Bear’s disappearance. Yet, when it seems Bear isn’t in immediate danger, Paddy and Mandy decide to handle things themselves. Meanwhile, when Paddy’s daughter Eve believes she’s spotted her missing grandfather on a woodland walk, Matty dismisses it, thinking she’s confused due to their ongoing Bear-hunting game. But the question remains: has Eve really seen Bear?

Earlier this year, actor Joshua Richards opened up about Bear’s challenges and what’s ahead for the character.
“There’s a lot of confusion in Bear’s mind. I think he’s reacting aggressively because he feels exposed and a little scared,” he explained. “He’s someone who, in the past, was incredibly strong physically and made a living through his fitness. He knows how to fight and still has that ability,” Richards elaborated on Bear’s current state of mind.
“But as you age, you start to question whether you can still be the person you once were, which makes you vulnerable. That sense of status is gone. For someone who was an athlete and commanded respect for his skill in the ring, suddenly having none is a big blow.”
He continued: “When you feel a loss of dignity, it’s easy to lash out because you feel exposed and susceptible to attack.”
