General Hospital Spoilers tease that Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) poured on the charm with Dr. Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) on Monday.
It’s still uncertain whether Lucas truly plans to honor his agreement and stand by his man, or if he’s simply playing along to uncover what his boyfriend is really up to — which appears to involve a plot to have Lucas’ brother-in-law, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), eliminated.
Would Lucas honestly ignore Marco’s alliance with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) to bring down the father of Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) children? That seems hard to believe.
Whether Lucas is pretending to go along with Marco’s scheme or genuinely supporting him, there’s someone else who knows Lucas is now aware of the truth — Pascal (Marc Forget). And Pascal isn’t likely to show much mercy.
Pascal Applies Pressure
Pascal has already endured enough of Sidwell going on and on about how much Marco’s happiness means to him.
If Marco is content, Sidwell expects that to matter to his loyal right-hand man — and we all know Pascal is far more than just a typical employee.
Still, Pascal took another opportunity to caution his boss about Lucas overhearing that tense conversation with Marco.
Did Pascal succeed in planting a seed of suspicion in Sidwell’s mind about his son? Or will Sidwell continue to overlook any red flags when it comes to Marco?
Carly Gets Closer
Carly had already been working on gaining access to Wyndemere to snoop around and uncover what Sidwell and Marco are plotting.
Now that Lucas has validated her suspicions about his boyfriend, it might seem like her task just became simpler. However, Lucas still wants to believe the best about Marco.
That likely means he won’t be teaming up with Carly anytime soon to help her gather ammunition to take back to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart).
If Carly digs too deeply into Sidwell’s affairs, she won’t just be endangering herself — she could also be putting her brother in serious jeopardy.
Lucas in the Crosshairs
In the end, Carly may have to decide what matters more — honoring her pact with Valentin to help bring down Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna), or protecting her little brother.
The stakes in Sidwell’s world are already sky-high, and Pascal, in particular, doesn’t seem like someone who makes idle threats.
Even if Sidwell underestimates the danger, Pascal likely won’t. Could Carly’s relentless mission to destroy Jack wind up destroying both her and Lucas instead — possibly in a very literal sense?
