General Hospital Spoilers: Is Nathan Really Behind Sonny and Laura’s Blackmail Photos?

General Hospital spoilers and updates tease that Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) could be the one responsible for the mysterious blackmail photographs. Could Nathan have been spying that night and managed to capture incriminating evidence?

There’s growing speculation that Nathan may have been working for — or possibly alongside — Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) on the very night Laura Collins (Genie Francis) came across the body of Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton (Daniel Goddard).

Sidwell Shows Proof Linking Laura and Sonny to Dalton’s Death

In the December 4th episode of GH, Sidwell revealed that he possessed photos of Laura and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) standing over the open trunk of her car.

The tarp covering Dalton had been pulled back, exposing his bloodied body — and with Laura and Sonny caught in the frame, Sidwell now has major leverage for blackmail.

But the real question is: How did Sidwell get his hands on those explosive photos?

While Sidwell was at Wyndemere, Pascal (Marc Forget) was tied up with cleanup duties and chauffeuring Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud). It’s possible Pascal snapped a few pictures that night, but Nathan remains the most compelling suspect.

Nathan’s Sudden Appearance Seemed Suspicious

It certainly raised eyebrows when Nathan suddenly appeared and tapped on Laura’s window out of nowhere. That moment alone makes it easy to wonder if he was lurking nearby to take photographs and rattle her.

Although Nathan claimed he was called away for work shortly after Sonny showed up, he could have easily stayed behind long enough to take photos from a distance.

Did Nathan Secretly Partner with Sidwell?

There have been multiple hints suggesting Nathan may actually be Sidwell’s mysterious accomplice. Even though Nathan insists he can’t remember the last seven years, it’s entirely possible he’s not telling the whole truth.

Some GH fans are even speculating about brainwashing, memory manipulation, or some twisted scheme that could have turned Nathan into a darker version of his father, Cesar Faison (Anders Hove).

Nathan’s Behavior Hasn’t Always Seemed Familiar

There are times when Nathan doesn’t quite act like the man Port Charles once knew. That raises the possibility that he’s now hiding a more villainous side.

He could very well be posing as the noble cop while secretly serving as Sidwell’s inside source at the PCPD.

No matter the angle, Nathan is the only person we know for certain was close enough that night to have taken the photos of Sonny and Laura.

While someone else could have also been working for Sidwell in the shadows, all signs currently point toward Nathan.
