General Hospital spoilers and updates indicate that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) may put his foot down and bar Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) from spending time with Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr). Could Dante ultimately impose a strict no-contact rule between Rocco and his problematic brother?
Gio’s Poor Judgment Strikes Again
GH viewers know this isn’t the first time Gio has shown questionable judgment where Rocco is concerned. During the beach party incident, Gio brushed off Rocco’s drunken state, thinking he could just sleep it off.
But when Rocco ended up with alcohol poisoning, Dante was livid and confronted Gio for being irresponsible.
Now history is repeating itself. Gio is once again about to fail Dante and will have to face his wrath. Dante had recently been impressed by Gio stepping up to help Ned Quartermaine (Wally Kurth), and it looked like a healthy “father-son” dynamic was finally forming.
Well… That Didn’t Last Long
Unfortunately, that progress may disappear the moment Gio comes clean. As the week of November 17–21 kicks off, Gio is expected to confess to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) that he was the one behind Rocco’s involvement in the lab break-in.
Though Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) played a role too, Gio is ready to take accountability.
He knows he never should have involved Rocco or any of the teens. Bringing Rocco, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonzyn), and Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) into a potentially explosive situation was a major lapse in judgment.
Gio Couldn’t Predict the Fallout
Even so, Gio had no way of knowing the situation would get so out of hand. Emma and Gio intended for the teens to do nothing more than snag the key fob — but Rocco and the others took things further and ended up breaking into the lab themselves.
As Gio confides in Brook Lynn and expresses how sorry he is, Dante may show up and either overhear the conversation or jump right into it.
Brook Lynn might try to defend Gio a bit, hoping to soften Dante’s anger. Unfortunately, Dante’s main concern right now is Rocco’s safety, and he’s desperate to find someone to blame.
Dante Could Lay Down the Law
With Gio’s past slip-up involving Rocco and now this new mess, Dante may decide he’s reached his limit. Sensing he’s about to blow, Dante might take a page from Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and put a stop to Gio spending any time with Rocco.
He may not go as far as filing for a restraining order, but he could easily demand that Gio steer clear of his younger brother for the foreseeable future.
Dante could justify his stance by insisting he’s only protecting Rocco, especially if he believes Gio keeps dragging the teen into trouble.
General Hospital spoilers hint that Gio may indeed be hit with a “no Rocco” rule, so stay tuned to see what difficult ultimatum Dante might lay on him.
