Liesl Pushes for a ‘Naxie’ Reunion

Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) is determined not to give up on the possibility of reuniting Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms). This may lead Liesl to scheme against Nathan’s growing romance with Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) and Maxie’s relationship with Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson).

It looks like Liesl could try to enlist Britt’s help in matchmaking Maxie and Nathan, though there’s no guarantee Britt will agree—especially since she’s currently preoccupied with Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) safety and Lucas Jones’ (Van Hansis) dangerous new plan to steal a dose of medication from Wyndemere for reverse-engineering purposes.

Britt and Laura Face Growing Pressure

Britt will be anxious about the fallout if Lucas gets caught, knowing it could endanger both their lives. At the same time, Laura Collins (Genie Francis) will feel the mounting pressure from Jenz Sidwell’s (Carlo Rota) blackmail and may soon need guidance from Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Sonny might convene another strategy session with Laura after Sidwell coerces her into suggesting Willow for Drew’s Congressional seat. While Sonny will depend on Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) to uncover what Sidwell is smuggling and gain leverage, the plan could face complications. Lucy may talk her way out of trouble, but Sidwell’s suspicions might still be raised.

Willow’s Dilemma and Kai’s Watchful Eye

As for Willow, she’s focused on preparing for Congress and expanding her influence. She feels in complete control over Drew and is determined to maintain that power, making the upcoming Congressional developments a real challenge for her.

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) has urged Willow to consider placing Drew in long-term care, but Willow is still responsible for administering his shots herself.

Meanwhile, Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) is expected to check in on Drew. This visit could prompt Drew’s next attempt to communicate, potentially helping Kai realize the extent of Drew’s suffering and motivating him to seek answers about Willow’s role in it.

At the same time, Josslyn could be in more jeopardy than ever if Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) uncovers her connection to the WSB. Cullum had already shown suspicion during their night together in the blizzard, which means he might investigate further and expose her secret.

Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) is concerned that Cullum could put Josslyn on overly dangerous missions, but the threat to her life could be even greater than he realizes. If Cullum learns that Josslyn knows too much about his involvement in Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) final project, he may decide she needs to be eliminated.
