General Hospital Spoilers: Was Nathan Planning to Kill Laura Before Sonny Arrived?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest it may be time to question the real reason Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) appeared when Laura Collins (Genie Francis) was stranded on the side of the road.

Somehow, Nathan is suddenly reinstated as a deputy—complete with badge and gun—even though he openly admits he has no memory of anything from the last seven years. Does that sound believable? The PCPD seems to think so, but trusting him could turn out to be a major mistake.

Is Nathan Connected to Sidwell’s Operation?

There’s a real possibility that this amnesiac version of Nathan is tied to whatever Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) is orchestrating in Port Charles. During the November 21 episode, Laura discovered Professor Henry “Hank” Dalton (Daniel Goddard) dead in her trunk after getting a flat tire.

She reached out to her contacts for help, and—surprise, surprise—the only person who answered was Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard). Convenient, isn’t it?

Why Did Nathan Arrive When He Did?

Are we supposed to believe Nathan just happened to be in the area when Laura made her grim discovery? Unlikely. Nathan may have known exactly what was going on—especially after Sonny showed up and intercepted him.

Many fans are convinced that Nathan’s mysterious return is connected to his father, Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove), final scheme—one that also seems to involve his sister, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).

Could Nathan be carrying Faison’s memories and unintentionally channeling him? His behavior shifts between suspicious and confused, making it hard to tell what’s genuine. But his conveniently selective amnesia has definitely earned him more trust than he deserves.

Is Nathan Actually Faison in Disguise?

Sidwell’s “butler,” Pascal (Marc Forget), can’t be everywhere at once, which might explain why Nathan appeared at the scene instead.

Could Nathan have helped place Dalton’s body in Laura’s trunk, only to conveniently turn up later? He was called away right after Sonny arrived, but that could’ve been part of the plan. If the goal was to rattle Laura and Sonny, Nathan succeeded—well, he certainly startled Laura (and her mascara).
