The I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! star shared that she has acted in 12 films.

Kelly Brook is already making waves in the I’m A Celebrity jungle.
The Loose Women panellist has joined Martin Kemp, Emmerdale’s Lisa Riley, Angry Ginge, Eddie Kadi, and Shona McGarty in facing Ant and Dec’s notoriously tough bush tucker trials.

Although she’s been in camp for less than a week, Kelly already seems to be clashing with Jack Osbourne over mealtimes and who takes charge in the kitchen. The tension even prompted Jack’s sister, Kelly, to speak out and label the former model “a bit of a bully.”

Meanwhile, I’m A Celebrity has also delivered plenty of touching and emotional moments—from Shona opening up about her battle with anxiety, to Martin reflecting on how a brain tumour changed his life, and Alex publicly expressing her love for Jess Glynn.

Kelly has also been opening up about her career, with a dingo dollar challenge offering fans a glimpse into her professional past.
When asked whether Martin had more number one hits with Spandau Ballet or if Kelly had appeared in more films, it was revealed that she had starred in 12 movies.

Kelly first gained fame as a model before transitioning into acting and television. She made her screen debut with a small role in the British thriller Sorted, followed by appearances in Ripper and the first season of Smallville.

Her other film credits include Absolon, The Italian Job, School for Seduction, House of 9, and Survival Island, where she starred opposite Billy Zane.

Kelly played a leading role in the horror-comedy remake Piranha 3D and appeared in ITV’s Agatha Christie’s Marple drama.

Her later film credits included Taking Stock and Santet, with the latter marking her final movie role in 2018. Despite landing roles in Hollywood, Kelly revealed that she struggled to secure major acting work in Britain, attributing the difficulty to “classism.”

Speaking to The Daily Mail’s Weekend magazine, she explained: “I kind of had to start over because I’d been in LA, and by the time I returned, the industry in London had moved on. I signed with Keira Knightley’s agency, but my accountant said, ‘Oh my God, you need to get a job,’ yet I still couldn’t land acting work in the UK.”

The Heart FM presenter added: “It feels like a closed door for me. I’m too well known. Or maybe I’m too well known for simply being myself.”

She explained that her opportunities were mostly limited to soaps, saying: “We’re very classist in the UK. I could either be in EastEnders or Coronation Street, and that’s about it. There’s nothing wrong with soaps, but those shows demand a huge time commitment.”

Kelly also spoke to The Daily Star about her choice to step back from acting, wanting to enjoy the stability of home life with her husband, Jeremy Parisi. She said, “I’ve decided to leave acting. I don’t like being away from home for long periods.”

“I enjoy sleeping in my own bed, and I’ve got my dog to care for. Honestly, I was a terrible actress. I find it really exhausting,” she admitted.

“I have such a big personality that it’s always a challenge to become someone else. They’d tell me I was married to a character, and after just two weeks, in my head, I’d actually feel like I was married to them. It was a really difficult situation.”

She added: “I can’t imagine turning to Jeremy and saying, ‘I’m off for six weeks to pretend to be Ryan Reynolds’ lover, is that OK?’ I don’t think he’d be happy with that, and honestly, I don’t think it would go down well.”
