Is Emme Rylan Ever Returning To Port Charles?

There’s no denying that Emme was a huge fan favorite during her time on General Hospital, but acting doesn’t appear to be her main focus right now. She’s chosen to step back from the spotlight to concentrate on being a stay-at-home mom and spending more time with her family. On top of that, she enjoys knitting and still stays close with her best friend, GH star Kirsten Storms.

Emme’s last appearance on the show was in 2020. While many fans held out hope for a comeback, she has made it clear that she has no current plans to return to General Hospital.

That said, in August 2024, Emme openly expressed her disappointment when the show decided to bring Lulu back without her. The role was recast with actress Alexa Havens. Emme wrote on Instagram, “Yes it is true. GH has decided to recast Lulu. Although I’m very disappointed with their choice, I am glad to finally have closure. (And thank goodness JH brought all of you people into my life! Love you guys!)”

What’s Really Going On With Emme Rylan?

As for whether Emme might consider joining another soap—perhaps The Bold and the Beautiful or Days of Our Lives—she hasn’t said one way or the other. What is certain is that her fans genuinely miss seeing her on television.
