I’m A Celeb star and Emmerdale actress playfully said Ant McPartlin would “give you a nice night,” admitting she’s a feisty “red-blooded woman.”
I’m A Celeb star Lisa Riley’s fiancé has assured fans that the Emmerdale actress only has eyes for him, following her cheeky confession of a secret crush on a “juicy” Ant McPartlin.
The actress playfully claimed that Ant would “give you a nice night,” admitting she is a “red-blooded woman.”
Her partner of 11 years, Al, said he wasn’t fazed by Lisa’s comments. “There is no business like showbusiness, right? It’s all good. I have no fears of her leaving me,” he explained.
Al also expressed his excitement about seeing Lisa on the famous jungle bridge when she leaves. “I am very proud of her. It’s a big surprise, and I’m looking forward to meeting up with her again. Hopefully not the first one out — maybe at the end,” he said.
Lisa and Al have been together since 2014 and got engaged in 2018. In The Bush Telegraph, Lisa laughed: “I’m a red-blooded 49-year-old woman, and yes, I do think Ant McPartlin is very juicy.”
The Mandy Dingle actress had her campmates laughing when she joked: “Dec would look after you, Dec would tuck you in at night…Ant would give you…a nice night.”
Earlier, rapper Aitch asked who she preferred, and Lisa replied: “Ant is way tastier, oh god, Ant is juicy.” She added: “You can go to Chanel and just look — you don’t have to buy anything. I am very happily settled with my Al, but I can still have a look.”
Before entering the jungle, Lisa spoke warmly about her fiancé Al, a musician. The couple became engaged seven years ago, though she has previously said they are unlikely to marry.
She also revealed how Al had been gently teasing her ahead of her jungle adventure. “The very last thing he said was, ‘Just be you.’ But then, when I was on my own, he added, ‘Good God, you are going to be having a lot of beans,’” she laughed.
“Think Celia Imrie in Traitors and you’ll get the picture. People are going to witness all my quirks. But it’s the girl he loves, and I love him,” she said.
She also revealed she doesn’t mind appearing on TV without makeup, with her hair in a humidity-induced mess.
“I love looking raw on screen…just look at me in Three Girls or Waterloo Road. I’m not a vain actress — if anything, I’m the opposite,” she explained.
“So when people say, ‘Oh my God, you won’t have any fake lashes on,’ and my hair is going to be a frizz bomb, I don’t care. People will see me at my most unpolished, and I’ll embrace it, because that’s the reality.”
