Megan attempts to silence Sam’s suspicions
In tonight’s Coronation Street ITVX early release (Monday, January 26), Megan goes to drastic lengths to quash Sam Blakeman’s growing doubts.
After Sam starts questioning Will about a tracksuit jacket discovered in the flat, Will quickly passes Sam’s concerns on to Megan. Realising she may be losing her grip on the situation, Megan makes it clear to Sam that his suspicions must not be mentioned to anyone else…
Sam becomes suspicious of Megan in Coronation Street
Sam’s warning signs first appeared last week when he overheard a heated argument between Will and Lee about Miss Walsh. From then on, he couldn’t shake the feeling that Megan may have crossed a boundary with one of her students.
Those doubts grew today when Sam challenged Will about the tracksuit jacket Leanne had found in the flat. Megan had dismissed it, claiming it belonged to Daniel, but Sam had already seen Will slip it into his bag. It immediately raised red flags — especially since the jacket was far too stylish to be Daniel’s… sorry, Daniel!
Put on the spot, Will quickly came up with an explanation, saying Megan had been cold during training and he’d only lent her the jacket. But after relaying the uncomfortable exchange back to Megan, she took matters into her own hands — arranging a direct conversation with Sam at Speed Daal.
Megan delivers a subtle threat
Sam was waiting for Leanne when Megan suddenly appeared beside him at Speed Daal, instantly making him uneasy.
She coolly told Sam that she was aware of what he’d been saying about her, speaking to him briefly as though they were on the same level. Megan dismissed it all as silly gossip, suggesting some boys simply had “bigger crushes than others,” and laughed it off as something she and Will could easily joke about.
However, her tone quickly hardened. Megan warned that if Sam continued to believe — or imply — that anything inappropriate was happening between her and Will, things would stop being amusing very fast. And, she made clear, that would not end well.
Leaning over him, Megan insisted Sam understood her warning. Left visibly shaken, Sam was terrified by the confrontation. But has Megan actually frightened him into silence — or has she only reinforced his darkest suspicions?
